Great place to find a room! I needed a room on short notice and spareroom was the perfect platform to find one. The app made it super easy to connect with people and filter conversations. It only took me a week to find a place and I'm very happy.

Very professional, clean and to the point kind of experience. Their customer experience and support phone number is legit and of excellent service. They locked my account out as a landlord when I created the ad, but it only reinforced my perception of the legitimate set of users and advertisers that are on SpareRoom

Mostly good experience with the app until the last update for android, it completely broke the map search feature, when you try to search the area you are looking it resizes the map to a bigger or completely different area.

What's new
In this update, we’ve made significant improvements to the saved ads experience. You can now filter them by status (saved, contacted, shown interest, hidden), sort them (newest, last updated, highest rent/budget, lowest rent/budget), and view them on a map.
We’ve also added some extra functionality to messaging. If you’ve got multiple active ads, you’ll now be able to filter your conversations to see just ones about a specific ad or just those from users with room wanted ads you’ve contacted.
